Faced with the urgency of the environmental crisis, Patrick, Emma, Diane and Martin move from inaction to civil disobedience in their city of Rouen, traumatized by a chemical disaster, the explosion of Lubrizol plant. However, nothing predestined them to do so. Their daily lives are turned upside down by a decision that is not without peril, between the reluctance of their relatives, the legal risks and police violence. But for them it is "the whole world of life" that is at stake. They are determined to make the lines move.
